Where should your sink's drain be placed?
When picturing a kitchen sink, most of us imagine a perfectly symmetrical design with the drain located middle-center.
Few know, that moving the drain just inches to the right or left of center may provide benefits greater than keeping with the classic center design. Here are three key reasons you can appreciate having an off-center drain in any Havens copper or stainless steel kitchen sinks.
- Prep, Wash, and Dry at the same time! For those who prize functionality, the off-center drain has many of the same benefits as a double-bowl sink. Just like a double-bowl sink, an off-center drain allows you to prepare food on one side of the bowl, while dishes dry on the other. We came across your site looking for the ability to design a sink with custom options and I have to say, the level of customization that your company offers is second to none. My wife and I are currently in the middle of a kitchen remodel. She is left handed and uses the sink the majority of the time so I’m considering left side drain placement on our sink. We’ve considered a double bowl as that would accommodate to the way she uses the sink. I will be contacting you on Monday morning to go over some options for our sink. Thank you
